The YMCA’s approach to Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is to provide an environment that is safe and gives children the opportunity to learn and play.  This gives families peace of mind that their children are well cared for.

YMCA OSHC is the perfect solution for families and provides children with a great way to socialize and be active.

The YMCA of Brisbane is a non-profit charity operating 24 OSHC services in the Brisbane and Gold Coast area.  Our services offer Before School, After School and Vacation Care for children attending primary school, including the Preparatory year.  Families are able to choose casual or permanent bookings and may apply for Child Care Benefit to help reduce the cost of care.

All YMCA OSHC services follow the YMCA Policies and Procedures, which are in line with State Licensing and Federal requirements.

YMCA OSHC services offer a wide range of appropriate programs that reflect an understanding of the importance of middle childhood and the value of play.  At YMCA OSHC children are free to explore, observe, participate and enjoy being with peers and supportive staff.
