Fees and Bookings

It is our aim to provide a quality service to families at an affordable price. OSHC fees are based on the annual budget required for the provision of high-quality child care that is in keeping with our Philosophy, Goals and service policies and procedures.  The current YMCA OSHC fee structure is available in the Download section.

Families are provided with a weekly statement that details all attendances, fees and applicable reductions.  Families may choose to receive their statements in hardcopy from the service or electronically via email.  Statements list payment options including all relevant BPAY information.

YMCA OSHC services are registered to provide Child Care Benefit (CCB).  CCB is a payment made to families to assist with the costs of child care.  Australian residents using child care provided by approved child care services may receive CCB.  This can be applied for through the Family Assistance Office (FAO).

The Family Assistance Office (FAO) administers CCB through Centrelink, the Health Insurance Commission and the Australian Taxation Office.  Families should contact FAO on 13 61 50 to discuss their eligibility.

At YMCA OSHC we attempt to cater to all families with regard to days needed for care.  Bookings can either be on a permanent or casual basis.  It is preferred that families book children in on regular days wherever possible. This enables us to appropriately plan for staff members and activities.  We understand that some families will be unable to predict days needed and we will try to accommodate; however, due to licensing requirements there may be some days we will have to refuse care to casual bookings.

Families should speak directly with the service Coordinator to discuss care needs and make associated bookings.
